Anniversary exhibition at the Summer Palace in Greiz

Half a century of graphic art: The exhibition and collection center for East German caricature, SATIRICUM in the Summer Palace in Greiz, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. Since June 21, a large anniversary exhibition has been inviting visitors to immerse themselves in five decades of collection history. Several thousand guests have already visited.

Around 100 works are currently on display on the bel étage of the Summer Palace, including original drawings of iconic images that have become an integral part of our collective memory. Numerous pieces were sent in especially for the anniversary by renowned artists—satirical birthday gifts with a special meaning.

The exhibition will be replaced in fall 2025 and continued in a second season of the exhibition until March 1, 2026.

It's definitely worth coming back.
