Castle park meets candlelight: Dornburg Palaces Night 2025 invites you to enjoy yourself

A late summer evening full of music, light, and atmosphere awaits visitors to the Dornburg Palaces Night 2025. On the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus' departure from Dornburg, the organizers of the Thuringian Castles and Gardens Foundation are making a special statement: Bauhaus figurines by GNADENLOS schick will welcome guests.

A unique program unfolds between the three palaces: Baroque singing in historical costumes, chansons from the 1920s, Sinti and Roma sounds in the palaces rooms, while folk, klezmer, music by Roxette, Brazilian rhythms, world music, and electronic loops provide variety in the park. A show dance couple impressively brings Argentine tango to the stage. Further musical highlights are provided by 10saitig on the tea terrace and the String Company in the courtyard of the Old Palace.

In addition to the musical experiences, visitors will be enchanted by a UV light show, illuminated fantasy figures, and fireworks from the Saale Valley. Regional specialties and Thuringian wines provide the perfect culinary accompaniment.
